Charter Rates
Reserve your charter as early as possible. I need as much notice as possible to allow me to pick days that have the most favorable tides. I want your experience to be worthwhile, so that you will return. Weather can be a problem, and if unfavorable, I will try to reschedule a trip during your stay. If weather deteriorates during a charter, and the trip is shortened, I will adjust the cost. Safety is always our primary concern.
Bringing your own equipment is to your advantage because, especially with fly fishing gear, many clients show up with poorly balanced or improperly rigged setups. I can make recommendations or frequently correct the problem. I have had many expert fly fisherman, but enjoy helping a novice improve their casting or fishing techniques. Some of my clients have doubled their casting distance after a few suggestions. Many of my clients are here for a few days and I enjoy showing them places they can wade and fish on their own.
Besides all necessary tackle, I have a commercial fishing license that covers clients. Bring a hat with a brim, polarized sunglasses, tennis or deck type shoes, going barefoot is good for fly fishing because you can feel when you are stepping on the fly line, lunch if a full day charter, and a camera.
Fly fishing, and light tackle fishing can be accomplished with a minimum investment. If you're just starting, the proper beginning will give you a lifetime of enjoyment.
Rates are for one or two people:

* If my equipment is damaged or lost overboard by a client, it is their responsibility to repair or replace it. I use fly rods alone that cost from 90.00 to 650.00.
